The second edition of the Zimbabwe International Youth Trade Fair & Conference (ZIYTFC) set for May 30 will spearhead crucial platforms for youth-led innovation and business networking for young people.
The event will be held at the Harare International Conference Centre.
The event, which is the brainchild of My Africa Child and Youth Development Organisation (MACYDO), aims to provide a crucial platform for youth-led innovation, business networking, and economic development.
MACYDO CEO Vimbai Butawu said the youth have power.
“They are drivers of positive change and sustainable development.”
Butawu said their vision is for the Zimbabwe International Youth Trade Fair and Conference to create a platform that fosters collaboration.
“Local and international renowned leaders such as Vusi Thembekwayo from South Africa, Ambassador Dr Arikana Chihombori-Quao and Ambassador Edd Branson will be present on the event.
“Yet the potential that they hold is often untapped due to lack of resources, mentorship and opportunities,” she said.
She stated that governments, civil society organisations, and educational institutions can collectively unlock the immense potential that resides in youths.
” Zimbabwe International Youth Trade Fair and Conference is a movement and a catalyst for a future youth empowerment “, she said.
