…Family, friends demand answers
A Bulawayo family has expressed concerns following the sudden death of their relative who killed herself after discovering that her lover was married.
She even saw pictures of her married lover with his family.
The incident occurred on May 5, and is still haunting the family and friends of Anthea Nyaruwata.
She committed suicide after she came across pictures of her lover, Clive Gwekwerere, on Facebook in the company of his wife and children.
After discovering the pictures, she killed herself and was buried in Bulawayo.
She left behind three children, grade 6, 4, and 2.
She left a suicide note following her death.
The note was left in a garage, which stated everything that occurred prior to her death.
Some relatives said after Anthea killed herself, Clive brought the car before her body was still at the scene.
After leaving the car, he went and never came back.
According to the suicide note, she stated, she felt used and betrayed.
Relatives tried to engage Clive, but he gave them deaf ears.

However, relatives are demanding answers on what really transpired leading to the death of their sister.
“Anthea was dating this guy, Clive Gwekwerere from Bulawayo, she got to know him through Clive’s cousin Linda.

While another friend said, Anthea was introduced to Clive’s mother.

Another relative said, prior to her death, Anthea had financial challenges.

The family members are angry that they feel Clive used their sister.

“She stated that Clive was unfair to her, considering what she had done for him.”
The relatives are also at odds with Swift Zimbabwe where Anthea worked for 11 years.
The company is reportedly refusing to give the relatives her package citing that she was not permanently employed.
