Majeke drops song after escaping death

Sungura musician Herbert Majeke has released a new single, Kukadzi Ndinosvika, inspired by his survival after being hit by a commuter omnibus in an accident last month.

The song, whose title translates to “I will make it to February”, reflects the musician’s gratitude for surviving the October 20 accident and his hope of celebrating his next birthday in February.

In an interview, Majeke said he composed the song following the accident, which gave him a renewed appreciation of life.

“Today, November 5, I have recorded a song titled KUKADZI NDINOSVIKA, meaning February, my birthday month.

“I wrote this song after I was involved in an accident on October, 20, last month.

“To those who want to hear the song, you can contact me on +263773203497.

“It won’t be available online, but only through direct sales by Herbert Majeke himself,” he said.

Majeke said the single would be available only through direct sales, and interested listeners should contact him personally to buy a copy.
