The High Court has barred Ishmael Chokurengerwa (54) from conducting any church gatherings after being granted bail.
The court ruled that there was no longer any risk of interference with witnesses.
The bail conditions are as follows:
a) to deposit USD1000 with the clerk of court Norton Magistrates’ Court
b) to reside at his given address until the matter is finalised
c) barred to conduct any church gatherings anywhere until the matter is finalised
d) not to interfere with witnesses directly or indirectly until the matter is finalised
e) to report to the police three times a week until the matter is finalised.
