FIFTEEN people have been confirmed dead in a fatal road accident that occurred along Harare-Masvingo Road.
The accident involved a Sprinter kombi which was travelling towards Masvingo when it had head-on with a truck.
National police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed.
“The ZRP confirms a fatal road traffic accident which occurred this afternoon at around 4 pm.
“It happened at the 53-kilometer peg along Harare-Masvingo Road.
“15 people were killed after a Sprinter kombi traveling towards Masvingo was involved in a head-on collision with a truck traveling towards Harare.
“Police are currently at the scene.”
