His wife was turning 40 tomorrow
Their anniversay was on Friday
After one month of heartbreak following the tragic loss of his family in a horrific road accident, Ronald Mujuru has spoken out with a thankful heart.
He posted on his Facebook Page.
“Today marks exactly a month after the tragic accident that took my family and I am yet to figure out how does one say goodbye
To a whole world at once? It still feels unreal.
A wife so loving(who was due to turn 40 tomorrow, just two days after our anniversary) and children so full of life, all taken in a single moment that changed everything forever.
“The silence they left behind speaks louder than words, and the emptiness they left can never be filled.
In this darkest season of my life, words feel so small compared to the pain of losing my beloved wife and our five beautiful children in such a devastating way.
“My heart is shattered in ways I never imagined possible, and the pain is something I carry with me every moment.
In the midst of this darkness and overwhelming grief, I have been carried by the incredible love, prayers, and support from all of you—family, friends, and even those I may not know personally.
“Your prayers, messages, calls, visits, and acts of kindness have meant more to me than I can ever express, and they have reminded me that I am not alone.
Thank you for standing by me, for lifting me up when I could not stand on my own, and for surrounding me with compassion when I needed it most.
“Your support means more than I can ever fully express.
I may not be able to respond to everyone individually, but please know that every act of kindness, every prayer, and every word of comfort has meant more to me than I can ever express.
The road ahead is still long and heavy, but because of you, I face it with a little more courage each day.
“Please continue to keep my family in your thoughts and prayers as I try to find the strength to move forward carrying my departed family in my heart, one day at a time.
“I will forever be grateful for each and every one of you.
With a heavy but thankful heart 💔.”
