Police have arrested a man who allegedly killed a colleague after a misunderstanding during a snooker game.
The incident occurred in Ntabazinduna on April 10.
“The ZRP confirms the arrest of Emanuel Phiri (24) in connection with a murder case which occurred at Mzenda Business Centre, Thokozani Village, Ntabazinduna on 10/04/26.
“The suspect allegedly stabbed Fortune Hadebe (33) once on the right hand following a misunderstanding during a snooker game.
“The victim sustained a deep cut and initially sought treatment at Ntabazinduna Clinic, where he was referred to United Bulawayo Hospitals, but succumbed to the injury on 11/04/26 before reaching the hospital.”
