Young Zimbabwean Keith Nyereyemhuka’s dream of owning a sport of his own has come true.
The 21-year-old has managed to design the sport, Dumball played by 10 players.
His dream is to heal the young people who are faced with many challenges.
“With Dumball, l have a vision that can develop the future leaders of our nation.
“Our next leaders (current youths), our entrepreneurs must have compassion and be independent thinkers.
“This is achieved through the gameplay of Dumball,” said Keith.
He defined the game as a game of strategy.
“I define Dumball as a game of strategy, games of strategy are found in societies like ours in Zimbabwe where obedience is stressed.
“To the youths, to the people of Zimbabwe, l believe it will be bigger than just physical exercise, it’s a team game that will develop a basic frame of mind.
“I view sports mainly Dumball through a functionalist perspective.
“Through Dumball we are looking for ways in which it can contribute to community, what valuable lessons for our children and the opportunities to release tensions generated by a job or other life events.”
According to Keith, Dumball will also serve as a model of the goals that the community should arrive for.
“I believe this game is supportive of the social order as well as the origin of Dumball.
“This will also walk in the lines of democracy.
“Democracy is enlightenment and learning, so what if the point of DEMOCRACY is not to say we are a Democratic society and there’s work to be done?”
Keith explained how the game is played.
8 is associated with abundance, power, and the ability to manifest one’s desires or endless possibilities.
While 0 represents potential and wholeness. 0 is seen as a blank slate or a starting point embodying the idea of infinite possibilities.
Now the pairing of these two numbers (8 and 0 making 80) encourages the player or one to Balance their ambitions with a sense of purpose and connection to the greater whole
Together again, they highlight potential and importance of beginnings.
Together they create a dynamic interplay between the one’s success and the spiritual realm.
So as the player shoots from the 80 past the skyline or Latwell line.
The score is recorded as a get-through representing success.
No, 80 is a part of the Dumball game.
But there are also 20,40,80 and those are the only numbers in the Dumball.

In January Keith, created a manual called, ‘Code Earth Estate’ for people of all financial backgrounds to invest in real estate.
He felt that real estate has always been a playground for the elite and the wealthy, leaving the underprivileged without options to own multiple properties.
The Code Earth Estate system was meant to remove long-standing myths about the age a person can be in charge of property or even buy it.
