Zimbabwe- President Mnangagwa will not be contesting for the elections in 2028 after the lapse of his term if what he said is anything to go by.

Recently, the President and his loyalists have been pushing for the ‘2030’ ED anenge achipo.
“Our constitution says after every 5 years, we go to Congress.
“We select our president, the president serves two terms. I served my first five years, tikaenda kuCongess mukandidzorera.
“So i am now serving my last five years, ndoendawo kunozorora, dzinopera manje manje, toenda kuCongress motsvaka mumwe anotungamira achitevedzera tsoka dzangu, mazvihwa.
“Mazuva angu ekuzorora ave pedyo, ndichaenda kunozorora, toenda kuCongress totsvaga anotevedza tsoka dzangu, dzamunhumutapa, mukuzvinzwa ndakurumai nzeve.”
