At least over 23 000 touts have been arrested across the country under operation ‘No to Mushikashika and Touts’.
In statement, the police said:
“On 26/06/24, 233 touts were arrested throughout the country on operation, “No To Mushikashika and Touts.”
“This brings cumulative arrests to 1,281 since June 2024.
“Meanwhile, 666 arrests were made on motorists engaging in mushikashika, bringing cumulative arrests to 23 596.”
