Bulawayo-based model Sakhile Dube has been crowned Miss Universe Zimbabwe queen.
The 27-year-old outwitted 17 other contestants to emerge as the winner.
She will represent Zimbabwe in Mexico for Miss Universe 2024.
She had a tight contest with Lisa Sibanda and Ruvimbo Njomboro during the second round of the question and answer.
The event ran under the theme ‘Met Gala’.
The girls were trimmed from 18 to 8 before the final three.
Lisa Sibanda was named the First Princess, while Ruvimbo Njomboro earned the title of Second Princess.
Sakhile is a decorated model who holds prestigious titles.
She was the 2020 Zimbabwe Miss Tourism winner (2020-2021) as well as the recipient of the Most Promising Award at the Zimbabwe Models Awards in 2018.
She holds the esteemed title of Miss Inyathi in Bulawayo in 2015 and Miss Supranational Africa in 2023.
Her poise, grace, and proven track record have firmly established her as a force to be reckoned with in the world of pageantry.
Pauline Marere who was hoping to outshine other girls through her experience failed to make it in top three.
She however emerged Voices of Change along with Amanda Peresu, and Nozinhle Gumede.
