United Kingdom Westminster Magistrates’ Court has issued a warrant for the arrest of Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma following the alleged murders of his wife and two daughters in Bedfordshire.
The warrant comes after the suspect was arrested in South Africa after he entered the country early July following the callous murder.
Since his arrest he has been held in South African prison pending his extradition in which he returns to court on August 27.
The warrant relates to the deaths of Nothabo Zandile Tshuma, 42, and her daughters, Natalie, 15, and Nala, 5, whose bodies were found at their family home in Great Denham, Bedford, on July 6.
“Between 02/07/2026 and 08/07/2026 at Bedford in the County of Bedfordshire murdered Nothabo Zandile TSHUMA, contrary to common law.
“Between 02/07/2026 and 08/07/2026 at Bedford in the County of Bedfordshire murdered Natalie TSHUMA, contrary to common law.
“Between 02/07/2026 and 08/07/2026 at Bedford in the County of Bedfordshire murdered Nala TSHUMA, contrary to common law.
“Information having been laid before me on oath by DS John PRENDERGAST of Hertfordshire Police that the accused committed the above offences.
“Direction: You, the constables of Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire Police Force or other authorised persons, are hereby required to arrest the accused and to bring the accused before the above court immediately,” read the warrant.
Court documents allege the murders occurred between July 2 and July 8, 2026, in Bedford, Bedfordshire, although the exact date of the killings has not been established.
A forensic post-mortem examination found that all three victims died from blunt force trauma.
Investigators allege that Tshuma departed London’s Heathrow Airport for Dubai on July 4 before travelling to Johannesburg, South Africa, where he arrived on July 5.
He was later arrested in Kensington, Johannesburg, during a joint operation involving South Africa’s Hawks and Interpol.
South African authorities subsequently charged him with illegal possession of a firearm and remanded him in custody pending further court proceedings.
