Police have warned the public against naming and identifying accident victims before their next of kin are informed.
This follows the accident which reportedly claimed the lives of Highlanders committee members.
In a statement police said:
“As Police Officers are still attending to the fatal RTA near Lochard, along Harare- Bulawayo Road. ZRP warns the public from naming victims until their next of kin or relatives have been informed formally.
“We urge Socialite and Journalists to report responsibly. Meanwhile, Police will release information once the whole scene attendance is complete.”
