Chiredzi-based hip-hop artist Robert ‘BoB HucCi’ Chinembiri has kicked off 2026 with a bang, collaborating with Mr Attention, known for the hit “Handinyore.”
Their new single, “Goodlife,” is already making waves in the local music scene, having attracted over 200,000 views on YouTube in less than a month.
At just 27 years old, BoB HucCi has always aspired to be a musical genius and is positioning himself as one of the emerging voices in Zimbabwean hip-hop.
He describes “Goodlife” as an inspirational track that encourages hard work and ambition.
“This song serves as a reminder for people to work hard toward a fulfilling life, emphasising the importance of striving for the good life we all desire,” he said.
“Soon, I will begin performing live shows.”
As a young artist, BoB HucCi aims to impart valuable lessons through his music.
“I want to use my platform to motivate other young people to avoid drugs and focus on creating a better life for themselves,” he added.
His current vision is to establish a strong brand that will take the music industry by storm.
“I plan to release a remix of the single ‘Wakatumwa Nani’ by the end of September, featuring new artists from different regions of Zimbabwe, along with an official video.
I also have upcoming singles in collaboration with other artists like Chengeto Brown and Boss Pumacol, and I am promoting my clothing lines, HONA HUCCI and HONA HUPENYU,” he shared.
BoB HucCi graduated in 2024 from the Institution of Marketing Management (IMM) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, specialising in Marketing.
His ultimate goal is to become a musical genius and director in the global entertainment industry by discovering various talents and opening opportunities for rising stars.
“My musical role models include Bob Marley, Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, Tyga, and Big Sean,” he stated.
Born on February 6, 1999, in Kadoma and raised in Harare, BoB HucCi began his music career in high school at Riverton Academy and Sandon Academy.
He pursued his career in Harare, affiliated with Mulanation Entertainment from 2016 to 2021, before becoming independent and partnering with Allied Kings from 2021 to 2024.
Since then, he has collaborated with various artists, including ScripMuLa, Busiso, Bazooker, and PrinceBoyaH.
He is set to release a new single titled “WakaTumwa Nani,” produced by McHudson and Blaqboi Da Don, featuring artists McHudson, DJ Ally, and Ronto under the BoB HucCi Foundation’s “Hucci Hive Family Entertainment.”
This project will also include a lyric visualizer produced by Blue Mordecai, Carat Studios, Glow Macc, Poka_RichTribe, and Dir. A.M.
