A 42-year-old Redcliff stabbed his girlfriend with a kitchen knife after a dispute over a missing SIM card.
The man has since been arrested and charged with domestic violence.
The incident occurred on March 24, when the victim accused the suspect of taking her SIM card.
The suspect reportedly attacked her, inflicting stab wounds to her arm and neck.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, where she is currently hospitalised.
The accused appeared before Kwekwe Magistrates’ Court and is expected back in court on April 3.
