City murder: ‘Deceased had no intestines’

The body of a yet-to-be-identified man which was found lying in a pool of blood in the CBD had no intestines and privates, a first witness said.

Some are saying the deceased was a taxi driver but the details are still sketchy.

The man whose body was found lying next to his car, was seen in the early morning of Tuesday.

Police are yet to comment on the issue. It was at corner Nelson Mandela and Simon Vengesai Muzenda Street formerly Fourth Street.

“When I got to the scene, the body was still uncovered and there was no one.

“His stomach was wide open and it seemed he had no his intestines.

“It looks like he was murdered and the suspects took away his parts including the privates.

“The position had nothing as well,” said the witness.

“So, the police came later and covered the body and he had all his belongings.

“In his wallet, there were some money and his driver’s licence.

“So it looks like, they only took his body parts.”

Another lady at the scene, claimed that the man was first stabbed while in his car.

She said as he ran for his life, the suspected murderers followed him and killed him.

The deceased’s car tyres had holes in them but they were new.
