Despite missing out on medals, in the final Men’s Olympic 200m, Zimbabwe’s representatives Makanakaishe Charamba and Tapiwanashe Makarawu have been hailed.
The two sprinters made number 6 for Tapiwanashe and 8 for Makanakaishe.
Congrats to Letsile Tebogo of Botswana for becoming the First African to win the title.
Tebogo became the first African to win the men’s Olympic 200 metres title on Thursday when he powered clear of American duo Kenny Bednarek and Noah Lyles to claim Botswana’s first Olympic gold medal.
