CHIPINGE- A serial rapist and murderer Daniel Chauke has been jailed 133 years for raping women before killing them.
Chauke (62), was sentenced after a full trial which took place on a continuous roll from June 10 to 14 this year.
All hell broke loose when he was arrested on May 27, at Usanga in Chipinge.
He was initially sentenced to 18 years in jail on the first count.
On the second count, he was sentenced to 15 years and was sentenced to 20 years each for the count three to seven.
On count one to four will run concurrently with count seven.
He will serve 60 years effective.
 National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) confirmed the sentence on their X account.
Chauke who initially appeared in court facing three counts of rape and murder, had an additional six counts of rape added to his charge sheet.
