…Celebrations set for May 4
Popular preacher Apostle Talent Chiwenga of Jesus Revelations Ministries (JRM) has officially announced his new marriage, Zimdaily Journal can exclusively reveal.
The apostle remarried after five years following the death of his wife, Rejoice.
The message was announced during Sunday service, by Pastor Gerald Baloyi:
“It is with humility that God has given our Apostle a helper, a wife who shall be a personal companion and sufficient helper to him.
“Through these manifold persecutions and perils that come in the life of the servant of God daily.
“Our mother was involved in two fatal accidents that claimed the lives of six people (three in each one of them).
“He sustained serious injuries and had to go through multiple surgeries and has been receiving treatment since then.
“As a result, about five years ago, he lost his wife, horrifically.
“When this happened the rest of Ziklag was nervous, terrified, and confused.
“That was a heartbreaking moment when the whole JRM family was faced with three funerals at the same time.
“It was coupled with the dilemma of not knowing whether he was going to survive those injuries or not.
“We are very thankful to God that the enemies of the gospel did not have their way.
“the Lord preserved his life for our benefit to fulfill the scripture,” he said.
“The life of our apostle was preserved by God when men wanted to end it because the heavenly Father wanted to see us being furthered in the gospel and increasing in the joy of faith.
“Talent Farai Chiwenga is God’s gift to us who believe, and God could not allow men to take it away arbitrarily.
“It is with humility and joy that I announce to you that God has given our Apostle a helper, a wife who shall be a personal companion and a sufficient helper to him.
“On the 4th of May 2024, during our Revelation Gathering program, we shall be celebrating the Marriage of our dear Apostle.
“And the whole JRM family is hereby invited to come and celebrate with the household of faith, as well as the Chiwenga family.
“It is imperative to note that this occasion is not a wedding, it shall be a celebratory occasion where Mai Chiwenga shall be introduced to the members of the household of God.
“The servant of God married his wife according to the cultural procedures of his people, as required in the gospel of Christ that he preaches; hence there will be no wedding on this day.
“Apostle Chiwenga is our parent in the Lord, and his life is ours. (1 Cori 3:21, 2 Cor 12:15).
“We are his family and what grieves him will also grieve us, what brings joy to him will also bring joy to us.
“Let us all come in our numbers, and celebrate the preservation of our Apostle’s life and thank God for giving him a wife. to continue with the work of the Lord.”
