A suspected thief produced a stolen wallet in front of the victim, who quickly identified his particulars.
The incident occurred on April 4, at around 4 am.
Police confirmed that the arrest of Thulani Mkandla (32) in connection with a case of robbery which occurred at Lupane Business Centre on April 5.
The suspect, together with his accomplice who is yet to be arrested, allegedly attacked the complainant and stole a wallet containing US$232, along with other personal documents.
The suspect was later apprehended while travelling in a mushikashika vehicle bound for Ndlovu Village after he produced the stolen wallet to pay the fare.
Fortunately, or unfortunately, he produced the wallet in the presence of the complainant, who immediately identified both the wallet and the suspect, leading to his arrest.
