The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) has reported significant progress in enforcement, asset recovery, corruption prevention, public education and international cooperation during 2025.
The progress was highlighted at the Commission’s 6th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held to review performance against its strategic objectives.
Speaking at the AGM, ZACC Chairperson Michael Reza said the Commission strengthened its investigative mandate, resulting in hundreds of arrests and the recovery of assets worth millions of United States dollars.
He said ZACC also strengthened international cooperation through Memoranda of Understanding with anti-corruption bodies in Asia, Europe and the region to enhance capacity in investigations and asset recovery.
ZACC received a clean audit report for 2024, affirming sound corporate governance and financial accountability.
The Ministry of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs commended the Commission and urged it to sustain professionalism, transparency and zero tolerance to corruption.
