Police have shot two and arrested four robbery suspects after a shootout in Bulawayo.
In a statement, ZRP said this is in reference to a case of robbery and murder in which a businessperson, Tedious Rutanhira (52), was shot dead on 14 September 2026 in Bulawayo.
“The ZRP confirms a shoot-out incident involving the suspects linked to the case, resulting in the death of Mehluli Ncube (45), alias Mamba, as well as Muzi Richard Fambirai Moyo (45), and the subsequent arrest of Shelton Jubane (37), Charles Ndlovu (52), Prince Chisale and Clive Ncube (27).
“The suspects are linked to ten cases of armed robbery in Bulawayo and surrounding areas.
“A detailed statement will be released on 19 September 2026.”
