This Wednesday, the City of Harare, led by Harare Mayor Jacob Mafume and Local Government Minister Daniel Garwe, descended on some illegal vendors in the periphery of the Central Business District under Operation Chenesa Harare.
The officials visited areas like Chisipite, Highlands and Newlands, where they destroyed some illegal stalls.
Harare Mayor said over 300 municipal police officers will be deployed to help execute the operation.
