…as police name 55 drug dealers, suppliers
Police have released the names of drug peddlers who were recently arraigned before courts, convicted, and sentenced to prison sentences ranging from four to 51 months.
But following the names, many questions have been paused, are these real drug peddlers?
National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the names.
Below are the convicted accused persons.
➤ Kudakwashe Mutizwa (37), a male adult of Overspill, Epworth, Harare was
convicted and sentenced for 18 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of Crystal Meth.
➤ Tanaka Mazara (27), a male adult of Old Highfields, Harare was convicted and sentenced to 16 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of Crystal Meth.
➤ Kudakwashe Chingani (28), a male adult of Mbare, Harare was convicted and sentenced to four years imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
Makanyara Sibanda (45), a male adult of Budiriro, Harare was convicted and sentenced for four years imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
Pride Mudyanadzo (36), a male adult of Glenview, Harare was convicted and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of Crystal Meth.
Godfrey Kasipo (42), a male adult of Chishawasha Hills, Harare was convicted and sentenced to 18 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of Broncleer Cough Syrup.
➤ Tafadzwa Saruchera (41), a male adult of Unit A, Chitungwiza was convicted and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
Kupakwashe Mutemeri (23), a male adult of Cowdray Park, Bulawayo, was convicted and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
Alex Tapera (25), a male adult of Makokoba, Bulawayo, was convicted and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga
➤ Khayalethu Ntutha (29), a male adult of New Magwegwe, Bulawayo, was convicted and sentenced to 18 months imprisonment for unlawful possession
of dagga.
Lynne Makomeke (24), a female adult of Plot Number 2, Woodvile,
Bulawayo, was convicted and sentenced to 18 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
Khumbulani Nyirongo (32) was convicted and sentenced to 24 months imprisonment for smoking dagga.
Timothy Takavingwa (23) was convicted and sentenced to six months
imprisonment for smoking dagga.
➤ Talent Shato (28) of Makokoba, Bulawayo, was convicted and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
Tonderai Chigumira (41) of Fusire Flats, Bulawayo, was convicted and
sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for smoking dagga.
Delight Mapfumo (23) of Douglasdale, Bulawayo, was convicted and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for unlawful possession unregistered medicines.
➤ Wilson Karase (40) of Binga, was convicted and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
➤ Nobhukosi Dzamunetsa (29) of Harrisvale, Bulawayo, was convicted and
sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
Sikhuliwe Daka (30) of Harrisvale, Bulawayo, was convicted and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
➤ Brian Siziba (31) of Bulawayo, was convicted and sentenced to 51 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga, Crystal Meth and unregistered medicines.
➤ Sinqobile Ngwenya (32) of Payentepe Village, Guyu, was convicted and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
A Solomon Moyo (22) of Marupi Village, Gwanda, was convicted and sentenced to four months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
Pinky Ncube (30) of Killerney Business Centre, Filabusi, was convicted and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
➤ Modreck Ruhonde (30) of Pumula North, Bulawayo, was convicted and sentenced to five months imprisonment for unlawful possession unregistered medicines.
➤ Siwinile Zondo (47) of Nyezi Village, Filabusi, was convicted and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
Dadirai Chibi (45) of Bhuka Village, Wedza, was convicted and sentenced to 24 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
➤ Gladys Jokonya (23) of Mapfanya Village, Wedza, was convicted and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
➤ Wadzanayi Zinyama (40) of Mapfanya Village, Wedza, was convicted and sentenced to 24 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
➤ Tatenda Kazembe (24) of Samaneka Village, Wedza, was convicted and sentenced to 24 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
Munyaradzi Simari (45) of Rujeko, Marondera, was convicted and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
➤ Munyaradzi C Chinyani (41) of Chivhu, was convicted and sentenced to 16 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of dagga.
