Police have arrested two men from Ruwa after they allegedly killed a patron.
The incident occurred on April 29, at a bottle store at Chenai Shops, Solomio Park.
In a statement, police confirmed that Trymore Ndebele (24) and Peace Dube (25), have been arrested in connection with cases of murder and attempted murder.
“The suspects allegedly attacked bar patrons with bricks and knives following a dispute at the bottle store, resulting in the death of Tendai Mubiya (30) and serious injuries to two other victims.”
Meanwhile, the ZRP also confirms the arrest of Maenzanise Gumbeze (36) in connection with a case of murder which occurred on April 30, at Queensdale Farm, Gweshe, Kadoma.
“The suspect allegedly stabbed his brother, Desire Philimon Makombe (29), once on the chest with a kitchen knife following a dispute over ownership of the family farm.
“The victim died on the spot.”
