Tryson Chimbetu launches new thriller

Tryson ‘Sekuru Dhimba’ Chimbetu has finally released an exciting new track titled TUTA.

The thriller was launched last Thursday, marking a significant return to traditional Dendera music for fans.

“I have come back to promote Dendera music,” he stated. “I wrote this song in 2013 and have only now finished it in 2026.

“This is just a preview of my upcoming eighth album.”

Chimbetu acknowledged the contributions of his team:

“Charles Ibeki produced the track, while I, along with my son-in-law, Saiwe, played the guitars. Congratulations to everyone in the Dendera music community!”

The renowned saxophonist, who has collaborated with legendary musicians like Dr. Thomas Mapfumo and the Blacks Unlimited, promised Chimbetu a dignified brass arrangement for his music.

“His experience has become my music class, enriching my understanding of humanity,” Chimbetu added.

Fans are already praising the new track.

Hugh BaAndre Chinhengo said, “It’s a well-balanced song; the saxophone was particularly impressive, Sekuru Dhimba.”

Another fan, Tungamirah Tungah, said, “Good song, Dr. Neroo. I’ have put it on repeat!”

Johane Nyandoron described it as a song of the year.

“It’s”the song of the year,” while Michael Innocent Nyamutambo simply stated, “Mapedza Bhora, Sekuru (Dhimba).”

Chimbetu is now being managed by an Artistic Director who specialises in arts, culture, sports, and humanitarian video and photo journalism, Takawira Photoveteran Unlimited Nyashanu Dapi.

“Congratulations to everyone who has supported your talented Tryson Chimbetu, your Sekuru Dhimba, your ancestral Dendera lyricist, and your advocate for Dendera art melody.

“You are proving to be a true Dendera artist, especially through your collaborations with Vasekuru Vebhosvo, Philip Svosve.”
