Businessman Dr Tagwirei provides free medical services, households to over 4000 people

Businessman Dr. Kuda Tagwirei has extended his philanthropy work after he provided free medical services to more than 1,000 people at Arundel Hospital.

The billionaire also delivered groceries to 3,000 households and donated three boreholes to tackle water shortages in Nyanga.

At Arundel Hospital in Harare, hundreds received diabetes screenings, general check-ups, and various health consultations at no cost.

The initiative offered a rare opportunity for many who are often unable to afford basic healthcare.

Dr. Tagwirei said that free access to quality health services is an unimaginable gift that should not be taken for granted.

The noble cause, which is in collaboration with his wife through their Bridging Gap Foundation, reflects Dr. Tagwirei’s commitment to uplifting vulnerable communities.

“Health services are vital to any society,” he noted, emphasising the importance of inclusive healthcare.

In a separate outreach last week, the Bridging Gap Foundation distributed groceries to 3,000 households in the Nyanga constituency, bringing relief to families.

In the same programme, three boreholes were donated to alleviate the ongoing water challenges affecting the area.

Speaking at a recent land tenure programme in Bulawayo, Dr. Tagwirei also took the opportunity to urge Zimbabwean youths to be proactive in identifying opportunities within public service supply chains.

“Anyone can supply the government.

“All you need is your papers and the courage to take the first steps to apply.”

He encouraged young people involved in supply chain services to seek avenues to contribute to public sector needs, underlining that empowerment comes through participation and initiative.

Dr. Tagwirei’s recent philanthropic actions continue to draw attention for their wide-reaching impact.

From healthcare to food security and clean water access, his work through the Bridging Gap Foundation is helping to meet some of Zimbabwe’s most urgent social needs.
