AN 18-year-old boy has been jailed for two months after he bashed his father after an altercation over a wheelbarrow.
The Chipinge boy was arraigned before the Magistrates’ Court for contravening the Domestic Violence Act.
For the offence, the magistrate sentenced him to 2 months imprisonment.
He beat his father on November 16.
The incident occurred at the family home when the accused became enraged over a query about a wheelbarrow.
In a fit of anger, he assaulted his father, leaving him with a bruised and swollen face.
