The businessman remained missing despite the R1.5M ransom paid to the kidnappers.

South African authorities were currently probing the case of Evans Katumb.

This development has prompted investigations by South African law enforcement leading to the discovery of his lifeless body.

Many questions are flocking, DID THE ABDUCTORS KILL HIM? WHO THEN KILLED HIM? WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM? WHY KILL HIM AFTER RECEIVING THE RANSOM?

Reports indicated that Katumba, had been residing in South Africa for the past decade.

On March 22, this year, he was abducted by assailants armed with AK47 rifles at a nightclub he had recently acquired.

According to reports Evans bought Yugo nightclub in February this year.

Yugo nightclub is the venue where South African rapper AKA was set to perform before he was murdered last year.

His abductors demanded a ransom of R2.5 million.

Family and friends managed to gather R1.5 million, intending to drop it in Ballito, a coastal town near Durban.

However, although the ransom was delivered as planned on 24 March, Katumba was not released by his captors as agreed.

Despite the ransom drop being executed, Katumba’s abductors did not uphold their promise to release him.

This development has prompted investigations by South African law enforcement leading to the discovery of his lifeless body.

It is reported that they demanded that one person bring the money and that the police should not be involved.

The money was dropped at an open field on the outskirts of Ballito, about 45 minutes from Durban.

A friend said, the kidnappers said they would release him after an hour, but that was the last communication they made.
