At least three artisanal miners have died after a mining shaft approximately 20 metres deep collapsed.
In a statement, ZRP confirmed the incident.
“ZRP confirms a fatal mining accident which occurred on August 24, at around 4 pm at Plot 55 Premier Central, Mutare.
“Three artisanal miners were killed when a mining shaft, approximately 20 metres deep, collapsed while they were working inside it.”
