A Warren Park man has confessed to killing his friend, whom he cut his throat before sucking his blood.
Shepherd Severa, aged 28, has since been arrested in connection with a case of murder of his friend Brian Nandana, which occurred in Warren Park D, Harare.

National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident and the arrest.
“The arrest follows the recovery of a blood-stained Toyota Aqua vehicle, registration number AGO 2804, at Warren Hills Cemetery, Harare, on May 19, 2026, at around 4 am.
“Subsequent police investigations led to the arrest of the suspect, who allegedly confessed to killing his friend, Brian Nandana, by cutting his throat with a kitchen knife before sucking his blood.
“The suspect led the police to a shallow grave at Warren Hills Cemetery, where the victim’s body was retrieved with a deep cut on the neck and a scar on the back of the head. Investigations into the full circumstances surrounding the murder case are in progress.”
