PSL increases gate charges for the 2026 season

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has raised gate charges for the 2026 Castle Lager season.
The new rates will see the cost for the “Rest of Ground” increase from US$3 to US$5.

Meanwhile, charges for the VIP and VVIP grandstands have been adjusted to US$15 and US$25, respectively.

In a statement, PSL spokesperson Kudzai Bare confirmed the changes.
“The Premier Soccer League would like to inform all stakeholders that after an Emergency Committee meeting held on March 5, 2026, a resolution was made to review the minimum gate charges for the upcoming season.
“The revised gate charges are as follows:
Rest of the ground: USD $5
VIP Grandstands: USD $15
VVIP Grandstands: USD $25
“This increase has been necessitated by the rising costs associated with matchday services, statutory levies, and tax obligations that clubs must meet when staging PSL matches.
“The PSL remains committed to balancing the operational costs for clubs while ensuring reasonable access for fans, who are a vital part of the game.
“Additionally, we would like to remind our valued fans that the match between Herentals FC and Chicken Inn FC, scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026, will be played behind closed doors.
“This decision is due to Herentals FC serving an ongoing disciplinary judgement issued by the PSL Disciplinary Committee last year.”
