A Gokwe woman allegedly strangled her three-year-old step-son while in a bush.
Police confirmed that they arrested Sharai Foromani (18), on February 13 in connection with a murder case which occurred at Madzura Village.
The suspect allegedly followed her three-year-old stepson to a bush behind their homestead, where he had gone to relieve himself, and strangled him to death.
The motive for the crime is not yet known.
The victim’s body was taken to Gokwe Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination.
