Prominent businessman Sir Wicknell Chivayo and his wife Lulu, have died after a private helicopter they were traveling in, alongside five other passengers, crashed in Marondera rural this evening.
Family spokesperson Mr Herbert Chivayo confirmed the death of the businessman and his wife, Lucy Muteke.
He told Zbc News that they are at loss of words after the tragic incident.
Zimbabwe Republic Police Spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the plane crash, saying the helicopter had six occupants.
