Police have arrested 16 individuals across the country as police continue to intensify their operation aimed at taming abuse and misuse of explosives.
In a statement, national police spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi, said, the police have been working together with other government agencies since April 2026.
“The Zimbabwe Republic Police reiterates that serious and coordinated efforts are underway to account for individuals, syndicates and institutions who are abusing explosives and totally disregarding the country’s laws.
“Since the launch of the operation, the underlisted individuals and entities have been arrested and convicted by the court.
