Even without being nominated in the Promoter of the Year category at this year’s National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA), Doek and Slay Ladies have shown that success is not only measured by awards, but by the impact you make.
The organisers are quietly preparing for what is expected to be one of the biggest women-focused events in Harare.
On Sunday, the Central Business District (CBD) was full of excitement as women rushed to buy tickets for the first-ever Harare edition of Doek and Slay Ladies.
The event is set to take place on April 26 at Glamis Arena.
Entertainment will be provided by Winky D, together with Travellers Band, Oriyano and Killer T, promising a lively and memorable experience.
For this edition, ladies are expected to dress in pistachio green and olive green, with touches of ivory and white, adding style and elegance to the occasion.
