Three men have been arrested after reportedly bashing a suspect to death before handing him over to the police.
According to a police statement, Norman Tsotsi (34), Liberty Mareba (23) and Tafirenyika Mareba (23) have been arrested in connection with a case of murder which occurred at Mapfungwe Shopping Centre, Makonde.
The incident occurred on February 26, which Pedzisai Nyika (26) died.
The suspects allegedly assaulted the victim with booted feet and fists all over the body before tying his hands with a rope and a wire intending to take him to the nearest Police Station. Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to injuries on transit to the Police.
