On January 1, a family lost one of their members after he was stabbed to death by a suspect who is still on the run.
The family from Nyava area of Bindura has been on the lookout for a murder suspect who allegedly killed their beloved brother.
Innocent Tinashe Mtepeya Hwata’s family is hunting for Border Tatenda Muringayi.
The incident took place at Nyava Growth Point in Bindura.
The deceased’s brother, Stanley Hwata, confirmed that the family wants justice
“We just want justice for my brother, who was stabbed by the suspect.
“The suspect has been hiding since the incident.
“They were at Nyava Growth Point when the incident occurred. My younger brother advised the suspect not to skid their car in front of many people.
“After stabbing him, the suspect licked the blood and even threatened those who were around.
“My brother died before we could even get him to the hospital.
“And we laid him to rest on Saturday in Nyava Village.”
Reports indicate that the suspect was seen in Shamva driving a Toyota Land Cruiser without number plates.
He has also been spotted again in the Mutandiri area of Bindura.
