Zimbabwe has been elected to the Council of Administration of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) at the 28th Congress in Dubai.
Posting on her Facebook Page, ICT Minister Tatenda Mavetera confirmed the development.
“I am proud to announce that Zimbabwe has been elected to the Council of Administration of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) at the 28th Congress in Dubai.
“This achievement is a strong vote of confidence in our nation’s leadership under H.E. President Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, and a recognition of Zimbabwe’s commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and global collaboration.
“Together with our fellow African nations, we will shape the future of global postal governance.
