Pupil expelled for labelling teacher ‘lesbian’

A misbehaving pupil at Robert Tredgold School in Bulawayo has been expelled after calling one of the teachers a lesbian.

The pupil had been excluded from school since May 13 for causing trouble snd threatening to beat up other pupils.

In a statement the school said, on March 27, the grade 7 pupil used vulgar language towards his class teacher, Mrs Helen Nemasiyanwa, referring to her as “a dog” and a “lesbian”.

“On March 26, he insulted a fellow Grade 7 B Blue pupil, using vulgar language and stating that his parents are prostitutes and that “they drink tea inside a condom”.

“On February 19, he beat another pupil, hitting him on the eye and mouth, which resulted in a swollen face.

“On February 27, while a senior teacher, was reprimanding him for the beating of another pupil, he responded by saying that he wants to “deal with people who have big testicles”, and that he would “mark an X on the teacher’s buttocks”.

However, following the incident, the disciplinary outcome was that the pupil should be excluded from Robert Tredgold School in order to for sanity to prevail in the school.
