Sungura musician Tatenda Pinjisi is in need of urgent help after he was involved in an accident which claimed his bassist Naison Tembo.
The accident occured on Friday night around 9 pm while he was on his way to Kadoma for a musical show.

Naison Tembo, the bassist died on the spot according to reports.
“He is currently admitted at Sally Mugabe Hospital.
“He has a broken right leg and he is in need of a CT scan.
“Some of his band members were injured.
“Mota yakavakaroverana nayo mashaya vanhu vaviri,” said a source.
Sungura music community expressed their condolences.
“We are deeply saddened by the news that Naison Tembo, Tatenda Pinjisi’s talented bass guitarist, was among those who lost their lives in the car accident.
“As the Sungura music community, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Naison’s family during this difficult time.
“Zimbabwe has indeed lost a gifted musician who was dedicated to his craft. May his soul rest in eternal peace.”
Meanwhile, philanthropist, Dr Johannes Marisa has called upon for assistance.
“Tatenda Pinjisi was involved in road traffic accident in Norton yesterday.
“His bassist died on the spot and Tatenda sustained multiple fractures.
“I have tried to engage National Arts Council for assistance,alas, nothing much has happened.
“I hope he gets assistance as soon as possible as he is at Sally Mugabe Hospital.
“He needs CT scan head plus many other xrays,” he said.
