Businessman Moreboys Munetsi has helped with the repatriation of 13 bodies of the accident victims who died in Cape Town last Saturday courtesy of Great Hope Funeral Services.

He assisted the bereaved families at an affordable price to ferry the bodies home.

Several Zimbabweans were injured when a Simplex Bus Company coach and haulage truck collided near Hex River Pass in Western Cape.
It happened in South Africa last Saturday evening.
The incident left families shattered with loss of the 13 lives and left 26 others injured.

Among the victims were children and the driver died on the spot after he reportedly tried to jump out of the bus.
“After this accident, we were approached by many families for assistance and when we were busy with quotes, the bus company approached us.

“I told them that we were available to assist and this was our part of us giving back to our community.
“We ended up agreeing on a reasonable price and the difficult part is some are still in hospital.”

“The situation is very terrible and we have managed to facilitate for all 13.

“All 12 bodies left South Africa for Zimbabwe and special thanks to the Zimbabwean Consular General in Cape town and Johannesburg.
“They helped with the paperwork and the Consular General in Cape Town has been on the ground since the first day.
“On Sunday there was a mass funeral service in Worcester, she was there.”
Some of the victims will be ferried to Gokwe, Harare, and Masvingo.
