Police have arrested four armed robbery suspects who have been terrorising residents around Triangle and Masvingo.
In a statement, police confirmed the arrest of Collen Gweme (28), Probit Njanjure (24), Gift Chibharo (28), and Farai Tazivarose (59), also known as “Chitichi,” in connection with a spate of armed robbery cases which occurred in Triangle, Chiredzi, and Mkwasine, Masvingo, between January 2026 and 15 April 2026.
“The suspects were arrested following a tip-off which linked them to the armed robbery cases. “The arrests led to the recovery of stolen property, including a Nissan Caravan kombi, assorted groceries, three television sets, solar panels and inverters, a lithium battery, a submersible pump, 16 cellphones, three bicycles and other electrical gadgets.”
