Police in Silobela are appealing for information that might help in the identification of human remains which were discovered near Gweru river Jena Mines area.
In a statement, Midlands provincial spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko said the remains were discovered on February 8 at around 8 am.
An informant, Nkosana Mgezwa, 39, was on his way home when he discovered scattered human remains in the bush.
During the scene attendance, police also discovered the clothes of a female adult about 20 metres from the human remains.
Members of the public who may be missing a relative are invited to visit the nearest police station for help.
