For the second time, electricity switched off during President Mnangagwa’s State of the Nation Address (SONA) at the Parliament.
This is the second time such an incident has occurred.
Last year, the same time, electircity was switched off.
The President was aided with torches to finish his speech.
Responding to the situation, Speaker of Parliament, Jacob Mudenda, said, the person who committed the act will regret.
He appears to suggest that the culprit deliberately switched off as President Emmerson Mnangagwa was delivering his State of the Nation Address.
“The person who switched off electricity while the President was speaking will regret the day he was born,” Mudenda has told MPs.
