A Bulawayo man has been jailed for the next 15 years after he was convicted of raping his ex-wife.
The 35-year-old convict from Hope Fountain appeared before Bulawayo Regional Court.
According to the National Prosecuting Authority, on the morning of 10 August 2026, the offender went to the residence of his 35-year-old ex-wife at Ngoma homestead.
He entered her room, got into her bed, and raped her without protection.
The matter came to light when the victim reported the incident at Hillside Police Station.
She was subsequently referred to the hospital for medical examination, leading to the offender’s arrest and conviction.
