Opposition leader Nelson Chamisa has reentered the political arena amid mixed reactions from his supporters and followers.
He made the announcement on Friday.
Some welcomed him and stated that a huge gap was felt in the political field.
While some said, he is a Zanu PF project meant to confuse the mass.
“Our nation faces a pivotal moment and stands at a critical juncture.
“ The promise of independence has not yet translated into rapid transformation, shared prosperity, dignity, and opportunity for all.
“Today, Zimbabwe is gripped by disputed national processes, deepening economic hardship, political uncertainty, social collapse, and moral decay.
“Government services and support to citizens are based on partisan considerations.
“The unfolding instability has heightened national anxiety and eroded public trust.
“We have endured decades of crisis, political instability, political intolerance, and national disunity. Hatred has been imposed on citizens due to politics.
“Zimbabwe suffers from a debilitating legitimacy crisis borne out of rigged elections, institutionalized idolatry, sponsored hate, contrived intolerance, endemic corruption, illegal recalls, the hijacking of genuine opposition, and state capture.
“For Zimbabweans in the diaspora, the struggle is real. Many have left the country, facing numerous immigration issues.
“The harassment, embarrassment, and humiliation they endure is despicable, with some being locked up in unlawful detentions,” he said.
The energetic and charismatic politician highlighted that the resilience of the citizens of Zimbabwe remains unbroken.
“From our towns to our villages, the diaspora, and here at home, the call is clear: CHANGE must happen. Zimbabwe must reset. This is a moment for a FRESH START, a new beginning anchored in transformation, unity, hope, and purposeful action.
We are all aware that the crisis in Zimbabwe is a crisis of governance.
It is a leadership crisis characterized by disputed national processes, discredited elections, and a stolen mandate, which creates instability, uncertainty, and hardships.
“This crisis has led to abuse, desperation, and division.
“ We have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to reignite our hope and establish the trust and confidence necessary for our nation.”
His announcement was met with some critics labeling him a beneficiary of the ruling system.

Chamisa is a Zanu PF enable. We know that and we wont be hoodwinked by his theatricals. This one never aspire to be Zim president but only to misdirect people in thinking we have an opposition. Elections are making him money and he is content with that.
