This is the first picture of musician Tinashe Gonzara, popularly known as Ti Gonzi, after he was jailed for possession of dagga.
Ti Gonzi was sentenced to 10 months in prison after he was found in possession of drugs.
He was also arrested for violating traffic laws.
After his arrest, police searched his car and found prohibited drugs, Bron Cleer cough syrup and dagga.
He was facing five counts.
For his offences, he was fined US$100 for driving without a driver’s licence and 10 months imprisonment for driving past a red traffic light, of which two months were suspended on condition of good behaviour.
On counts three, four and five, he was fined US$100 or 30 days imprisonment.
The court heard that on February 2, this year, the accused person was arrested by police officers for disregarding a red traffic light at Mupedzanhamo robots.
One Constable Katukavarimi informed the accused that he was under arrest for ignoring a red traffic light.
