Former Chegutu West Legislator Dexter Nduna is expected to appear in court today after he was arrested for obstruction of justice.
Nduna allegedly threatened to unleash dogs on a Messenger of Court who wanted to attach his property over an outstanding debt of over US$40,000.
His case was reported at Kadoma Central Police Station, under Cr43/1/26.
Allegations are that he obstructed the Messenger of Court who was to attach his Fortuner car according to the court order.
The judgment clearly stated that his property, including the Fortuner, was to be attached.
The Messenger of Court attempted to carry out this order before Nduna reportedly threatened to unleash his dogs, forcing the messenger to run away.
After the incident, the Messenger left the scene.
However, Nduna later made a counter-report against the Messenger.
