Police have ordered for tik tok content creator Dr David Nhunzva to urgently report to Law and Order over demeaning videos against senior police officers generated from AI.
He has been creating AI generated content which has demeaning connotations against the police force.
Some of his videos have senior police officers bowing down to him.
In a statement police invited him to report to Police Law and Order department.
“The ZRP reminds the public that the Cyber and Data Protection Act, Ch 12:07 criminalizes creating, distributing or publishing false or misleading information on digital platforms.
“This includes circulating deepfake videos, fabricated news, misleading claims, using digital platforms to humiliate, threaten or demean individuals or institutions and producing or sharing AI-generated content that misrepresents reality.
“The ZRP is investigating a social media personality known as Dr. David Nhunzva for allegedly creating AI-generated videos intended to damage the image of the ZRP.
“The ZRP will not tolerate the misuse of digital technologies to mislead the public, harm reputations or undermine trust in national institutions.
“It is therefore in the interest of Dr. David Nhunzva to report to CID Law and Order to assist in the on-going investigations.”
